About The Role

Showroom Host - BYD - Automotive

Riverside Motor Group is looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Showroom Host / Receptionist to join our team at BYD Wakefield.

As the first point of contact for our customers, you'll play an important role in creating a warm, professional and welcoming experience from the moment they arrive. You'll support customers both face to face and over the telephone, while helping to ensure the showroom is presented to the highest standard.

This is a customer-focused role, ideal for someone who enjoys meeting people, building rapport and providing exceptional service in a busy showroom environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Meet and greet customers and visitors in a friendly, professional and welcoming manner.
  • Handle incoming telephone calls promptly and professionally, directing enquiries to the appropriate department.
  • Respond to internal and external emails efficiently and accurately.
  • Provide administrative support to the Head of Business and wider dealership team.
  • Offer refreshments and ensure customers are comfortable during their visit.
  • Maintain excellent showroom presentation standards at all times.
  • Ensure reception and customer areas remain clean, organised and welcoming.
  • Support the smooth day-to-day operation of the showroom.
  • Assist colleagues and customers wherever required.
  • Help create a positive and professional first impression of the BYD brand.

Previous experience in reception, hospitality, customer service, retail or the automotive industry is beneficial but not essential.
