Role Purpose

The Showroom Manager is responsible for delivering an exceptional client experience while ensuring the operational excellence and commercial performance of the showroom. The role embodies Stepevi’s positioning in high-end custom rugs and interior solutions, representing the brand to architects, designers, and private clients.

Key Responsibilities

Client Experience & Brand Representation

  • Deliver a highly personalized and consultative client journey aligned with luxury service standards.
  • Present collections, bespoke capabilities, and technical specifications with authority and clarity.
  • Maintain impeccable showroom presentation in line with brand identity and visual merchandising guidelines.
  • Host client meetings, private appointments, and professional visits (architects, interior designers, trade partners).

Commercial Development

  • Drive sales performance and achieve revenue targets.
  • Build and manage a strong client portfolio through proactive outreach and relationship management.
  • Identify new business opportunities within the design, architecture, and luxury residential sectors.
  • Prepare quotations, follow up on projects, and coordinate order processes.

Operational Management

  • Oversee daily showroom operations, including scheduling, sample management, and stock control.
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures and service standards.
  • Coordinate with headquarters on orders, logistics, marketing initiatives, and reporting.

Showroom Standards & Environment

  • Guarantee a refined, welcoming, and professional showroom atmosphere at all times.
  • Ensure product displays, materials, and documentation are accurate and up to date.

Candidate Profile

  • Proven experience in luxury retail, interior design, or high-end client advisory roles.
  • Strong understanding of design-led sales and bespoke product environments.
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills with an international clientele.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and commercially driven.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor consistent with luxury brand standards.

Key Performance Indicators

  • Sales revenue and project conversion rate.
  • Client acquisition and retention.
  • Service quality and showroom standards compliance.
  • Development of professional network (designers, architects, specifiers).

Requirements

  • Availability to work on Saturdays is required.
  • 3 to 5 years of commercial experience, preferably in the luxury interiors, design, rug & carpet, or lifestyle industries.
  • Deep understanding of luxury customer expectations and design-driven selling.
  • Existing network within the global luxury, contracts/FF&E, architecture/designers, interior, and hospitality sectors.
  • English fluent.
  • Other major European languages and/or Turkish is a plus.
  • Good communication and reporting skills.
  • International culture, open-minded, positive, proactive, and problem solver.
  • At ease with IT (CRM, Office Pack, Social Media).
