Job Description
This is an exceptional opportunity for a polished and proactive Showroom Manager to take full ownership of a brand-new, premium showroom located in the vibrant Clerkenwell district of London. As a key ambassador for a leading design and interiors brand, you will be instrumental in launching and shaping a flagship space, ensuring it delivers an unparalleled client experience and operates to the highest standards. This role places you at the forefront of the brand, confidently presenting its exquisite portfolio to Dealers and the Architecture & Design (A+D) community within this prestigious design hub. The successful candidate will be responsible for a comprehensive range of duties, spanning client engagement, operational excellence, and facilities management. You will deliver a best-in-class client experience, managing appointments, coordinating premium hospitality for events, and fostering strong, long-term relationships with clients and partners. Operational responsibilities include overseeing the showroom's launch and ongoing management, maintaining impeccable client-ready standards, managing product displays and inventory, and ensuring smooth daily operations, including opening and closing procedures. Additionally, you will oversee facilities maintenance, coordinate repairs, manage relationships with contractors, and ensure compliance with health & safety standards. Beyond operational duties, the role involves crucial support for the sales and marketing teams. This includes assisting in client engagement and showroom presentations, maintaining up-to-date product samples and marketing materials, and helping to plan and deliver showroom events and product launches.

The ideal candidate will bring previous experience in a luxury retail, interiors, or design-led showroom environment, coupled with strong presentation skills and excellent organizational abilities. A proactive, hands-on approach, high attention to detail, a commitment to premium standards, and a keen interest in design and technology are essential for success in this dynamic and design-led working environment.
Requirements
- Deliver a best-in-class client experience, ensuring every visitor feels welcomed and professionally hosted
- Present the product portfolio to Dealers and A+D clients with confidence, clarity, and enthusiasm
- Manage showroom appointments, schedules, and visitor flow
- Coordinate premium hospitality for meetings and events
- Build strong, long-term client and partner relationships
- Take full responsibility for the launch and ongoing management of the showroom
- Ensure the space is always maintained to impeccable, client-ready standards
- Oversee product displays aligned with brand and design intent
- Manage showroom inventory including samples, literature, and supplies
- Open and close the showroom and ensure smooth daily operations
- Continuously improve showroom presentation and visitor experience
- Oversee maintenance and coordinate repairs promptly when required
- Manage relationships with contractors, cleaners, and service providers
- Ensure compliance with health & safety, fire, and security procedures
- Coordinate regular testing and upkeep of building systems
- Support the sales team in client engagement and showroom presentations
- Maintain up-to-date product samples, literature, and marketing materials
- Assist in planning and delivering showroom events and product launches
- Coordinate travel arrangements where required
- Support CRM updates and client data management

Requirements (Skills & Experience)
- Previous experience in a showroom, luxury retail, interiors, or design-led environment
- Strong presentation skills with the ability to engage Dealers and A+D professionals
- Excellent organizational and operational management abilities
- A proactive, hands-on approach with strong ownership of responsibilities
- High attention to detail and commitment to premium standards
- Strong interest in product, design, and technology is essential
- Competent in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
