Mobility Your Way is recruiting for a Showroom Manager for our Daventry showroom to do just that. You will lead a team that is focused on delivering excellent customer service and providing great products and aftercare to our customers. You will need to be compassionate, motivated, driven, and an excellent leader so that you and your team of Showroom Assistants and Engineers can achieve your targets.

Responsibilities

  • Be a role model; guiding your team to success by hitting targets and achieving objectives
  • Ensure high standards of customer care, cleanliness, presentation, and quality of work are being maintained by your team
  • Ensure you and your team are providing excellent customer service to all customers in your showroom, at home, and over the phone – ensuring that correct products are being provided, all customer enquiries are being dealt with effectively, and customers’ specific requirements are being met
  • Manage stock and customer orders within your showroom so that we can always provide our customers with the best product for their requirements
  • Maximise your team’s ability by identifying areas for improvement in product knowledge (and other areas) and organising refresher sessions with internal trainers
  • Monitor and track sales to ensure you and your team are offering ancillary products, cross-sells, up-sells, and are on course to achieve your targets
  • Develop ways to increase business via internal and external sales methods
  • Ensure you and your team are compliant by following business procedures and ensure stock and merchandising plans are adhered to
  • Assist with hiring and training of new team members and take responsibility for rotas such that the showroom is always ready to trade.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills – you’ll be talking to colleagues and customers all day, and you need to be a confident communicator in order to deliver instructions or advice correctly
  • A keen eye for detail – we are all about high standards, and you will need to correct errors and discrepancies and prevent them from happening again
  • Customer-oriented – our customers are at the heart of what we do, and it is vital you are an individual who can appreciate a customer’s complex needs and be patient with them
  • Great administrative and organizational skills – you will be managing diaries, arranging customer orders, dealing with cash, and more – an organized mind is great for this
  • Professionalism and leadership – you’ll be managing a team, and it’s vital you do that efficiently and professionally
  • Sales-oriented – we set our showrooms targets and monitor KPIs, which you must be able to analyze and drive your team to achieve
  • You must be computer literate in order to perform this role
  • Full manual UK driving license required
  • Frequent heavy lifting and manual handling is required in this role

Benefits

  • Basic salary of £28,500 per annum, with a discretionary bonus scheme (OTE circa £31,350)
  • Full-time hours – 40 hours per week which will include weekend work and bank holidays
  • 33 days annual leave (including bank holidays)

This will be a very challenging and rewarding role where you will be able to impact the success of your showroom.

You may be required to cover other showrooms in your area/region from time to time (mileage paid).

The intended start date for this position is from September onwards. Your initial training could be conducted within another showroom, therefore we would need you to be able to reliably commute to another location for a period of time.
