We have an exciting opportunity for a Showroom Sales Consultant in our Kilmarnock (KA1 3XA) branch! At Jewson, part of Stark UK, we believe that our greatest asset is our people! Working Hours: This is a full-time role, working 40 hours per week. We are happy to discuss flexible working arrangements where possible.
As part of the role, you will be required to carry out site/home visits, so a holding full UK driving licence is essential.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Identify and win new business opportunities through personal outreach and leads generated by the branch, demonstrating active follow-up to convert these into new accounts
- Maintain and grow both new and existing customer relationships to maximise their lifetime value through fostering long-term relationships and building trust, in order to understand and deliver their current and future requirements
- Carry out site/home visits to take accurate measurements, ensuring precision in all design plans
- Support business initiatives to increase sales, margin & service as required
- Be confident in using our systems to ensure transactions and processes, including key admin activities, are carried out with a high degree of accuracy
- Develop skills so you can multi-task and be deployed across all areas of the branch, carrying out reasonable activities as requested
