You’ll be working as a Yard Shunter on site working from 0600 to 1430, or 0700 to 1530 Monday to Friday. In return for your hard work, we’ll offer you a competitive salary of £30371. You’ll also have access to a variety of high street discounts, a cycle to work scheme, a workplace pension, holiday pay and many other perks including ongoing training.
What You’ll Do On a Typical Day
- You’ll be driving an 18T rigid vehicle
- You will be moving demountable boxes and artic trailers around our customer’s yard
- Coupling up wagon and drag and artic vehicles
- There may be the occasional requirement to take a vehicle out and make a delivery
- During peak periods Saturday overtime may be available
- There may be the occasional requirement to use customer computer system to assist with loading planning

What You Need To Succeed At XPO
- CAT CE or C Entitlement on your licence
- No more than 6 points, with no DD or DR endorsements present
- CPC and Digital Tacho card
