About The Role

Pertemps are recruiting 3 x HGV Class 1 Shunter Drivers to join a busy logistics operation in Derbyshire. We have three positions available, offering consistent Monday to Friday work across day, afternoon and night shifts.

🚛 Day Shunter
- Monday to Friday
- 5:00am – 1:00pm
- £16.38 per hour
🚛 Afternoon Shunter
- Monday to Friday
- 1:00pm – 9:00pm
- £16.38 per hour
🚛 Night Shunter
- Monday to Friday
- 9:00pm – 5:00am
- £18.75 per hour
The Role
- Safely shunting trailers around the yard
- Moving trailers between loading bays and parking areas
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks
- Ensuring all trailer movements are completed safely and efficiently
- Working closely with the transport and warehouse teams
- Following all site health & safety procedures
- Maintaining high standards of safety at all times

Requirements
- Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous Class 1 driving or shunting experience is desirable
- Good understanding of transport legislation and health & safety
- Reliable with excellent timekeeping
- Comfortable working in a busy yard environment
