Our client is currently looking for experienced Shuttering Carpenters to join a busy construction project in Southampton.
The successful candidates will be working on a high-rise student accommodation project, carrying out shuttering and formwork duties as part of a large site team. This is a great opportunity for experienced carpenters looking for consistent work on a major construction project.
Requirements:
- Valid CSCS Card
- Previous experience as a Shuttering Carpenter
- Relevant experience working on construction sites
- Ability to work as part of a team and follow site instructions
- 2 x checkable references
- Good understanding of health & safety requirements on site

Duties:
- Carrying out shuttering and formwork works
- Installing and dismantling formwork in line with project requirements
- Working from drawings and site instructions where required
- Assisting with concrete preparation and associated carpentry works
- Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment
- Working alongside other trades and site management to meet project deadlines
