Job Opportunity: Experienced Shuttering Joiner in York
We are currently looking for an experienced Shuttering Joiner to start on Monday for an ongoing site-project based in York.
Role Overview
The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a range of first and second fix carpentry and joinery duties as required by the project. Daily tasks may include:
- Fitting doors
- Frames
- Skirting
- Architraves
- Ironmongery
- Studwork
- Timber installations
- General finishing works
- Any other associated joinery duties

You will be expected to work from drawings where required, use your own initiative, and ensure all work is completed to a high standard within agreed timescales.
Requirements
Applicants should have a strong understanding of site health and safety procedures, be reliable, punctual, and capable of working independently as well as part of a wider site team. You should be confident using a range of hand and power tools, have excellent attention to detail, and take pride in delivering quality workmanship. A positive attitude, good communication skills, and a proactive approach to work are essential.

Qualifications
- Candidates must hold a valid CSCS card.
- Have their own tools and appropriate PPE.
- Previous experience in a similar role is required.
- Relevant qualifications in carpentry or joinery are advantageous.
