Company Description

Opera Security LTD provides professional security and cleaning services, including Security Guards, Door Supervisors, Commercial Cleaners, and Event Stewards for a wide range of sites, venues, and events. The company is based in Stoke-on-Trent and operates across various areas of the country, supporting both local businesses and national clients. Opera Security focuses on delivering reliable, customer-oriented services that help maintain safe, clean, and well-managed environments. Team members are expected to uphold high standards of professionalism, communication, and integrity while representing the company on client premises.

Role Description

Opera Security is expanding our operations in Crewe and we are currently seeking professional, reliable, and SIA-licensed Door Supervisors to join our team.

We are particularly looking for individuals who can become part of a regular, consistent team — ensuring continuity, communication, and professional standards at every shift.

You’ll play a crucial role in maintaining a safe, respectful, and welcoming environment for guests and staff at local licensed premises.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide a professional and visible presence at entry and exit points
  • Carry out ID checks and enforce entry policies
  • Monitor behaviour and respond calmly to incidents
  • De-escalate situations safely and appropriately
  • Maintain accurate incident logs and reports
  • Work closely with management and emergency services when needed
  • Support a team-based security approach

Requirements

  • Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence (Required)
  • Experience in pubs, clubs, or licensed premises (Required)
  • Professional, courteous, and confident under pressure
  • Team player with a proactive, consistent attitude
  • Willingness to be part of a regular crew/team rota

Job Types

Part-time, Permanent, Zero hours contract

Additional Information

Experience in security, door supervision, or customer-facing roles is beneficial; prior work in hospitality, events, or nightlife environments is an advantage. Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and event-based shifts as required; flexibility to adapt to changing site needs. Basic IT and report-writing skills to complete incident reports and communicate effectively with supervisors and clients.
