Description

Job Purpose

The primary role of an SIA Head Doorman is to ensure the safety and security of the venue's clients and employees through effective management of the team.

Job Overview

You will be managing a security team stationed at the building's entrance, screening visitors for suitability.

Main Duties And Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all other security personnel on duty
  • 2 Years Minimum experience as a Head Doorman
  • Staff positioning
  • Schedule staff rotas and completion of timesheets for all Door Supervisors
  • Maintain order on the premises
  • Deal with and manage difficult conflict situations
  • Report and record details of incidents, searches and patrols
  • Ensure all security procedures and protocols are followed at all times
  • Crowd control
  • Ensure the safety and security of the venue, staff and visitors
  • Supervising customer arrivals and departures
  • Carrying out I.D checks

  • A valid SIA licence - Door Supervisor licence
  • Have at least 2 years experience of security work
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Physical fitness and endurance
  • Ability to lead and motivate security staff
  • Computer and report writing skills
  • Ability to act quickly and respond to emergency situations
