Sign Installer Opportunity at Signs Express (Southampton)
We are looking for an experienced Sign Installer to join our friendly, professional team at Signs Express (Southampton) to help with the installation of a wide variety of signage projects both internally and externally.
- Location: Renown Close, Chandlers Ford Industrial Estate, Southampton SO53 4HZ
- Salary: Up to £30k depending on experience
- Working Hours: Full-time position, Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm
- Travel & Qualifications: A full driving licence is essential, plus IPAF and PASMA qualifications are desirable

Duties Include:
- Carry out pre-installation assembly and production of signage
- Plan upcoming tasks in line with the weekly installation schedule
- Communicate effectively with colleagues
- Support the Production team where necessary
- Interpreting briefs accurately with a great understanding of different signage and installation techniques
- Following all company procedures and guidelines to ensure all signs are created/fitted safely and securely
- Ensuring Risk Assessments and Method Statements are understood and followed
- Taking responsibility for your own and others’ health and safety when working
- Always providing outstanding customer service to our clients and others
- Assisting in-house production staff when required

- A positive can-do attitude
- Well-organized and able to work alone, as well as part of our team
- Ability to problem solve on site
- High standard of workmanship to ensure minimum snagging
- Experience in the use of LED technology
- The ability to interpret briefs accurately
- IPAF/PASMA/CSCS accreditations (desirable but not essential)
- Clean driving licence
- An understanding of the importance of health and safety
