🚨 SIGNALLING PROJECT MANAGER – RAIL
📍 Swindon | 🏢 Minimum 3 Days Office-Based | 💰 Inside IR35 | 📅 Start: ASAP
What if your next role gave you the opportunity to take ownership of signalling projects across a major Western rail portfolio, working alongside experienced delivery teams on a varied programme of infrastructure works?
I'm currently looking for an experienced Project Manager to support a growing portfolio of rail projects in the Western region.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Project Manager with a signalling or wider rail background who enjoys working closely with delivery teams and wants to take responsibility for projects from planning through to completion.
🔧 The Role:
- Lead the delivery of rail infrastructure projects from planning through to completion
- Manage project scope, programme, cost, risk and delivery requirements
- Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams, contractors and key stakeholders
- Work closely with engineering and construction teams to ensure safe and efficient delivery
- Monitor progress, identify risks and implement appropriate mitigation
- Manage project documentation, reporting and governance requirements
- Build strong relationships with clients, contractors and project stakeholders
- Attend site as required to support project delivery
- Ensure projects are delivered in line with relevant rail, safety and quality standards

👤 What You'll Need:
- Minimum 5 years' Project Management experience
- Previous experience within the rail industry
- Signalling experience/background is highly desirable
- Contractor-side experience would be advantageous
- Strong understanding of project delivery, programme, cost and risk management
- Experience managing contractors, suppliers and multidisciplinary teams
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Able to work from the Swindon office a minimum of 3 days per week
- PTS would be highly desirable
- Willingness to travel to site when required
