Your new role:
As a Signature Dining Insert job role, you will have the opportunity to demonstrate your passion and creativity and to expand and develop your role. Joining our team in Solihull you will be working 40 per week 5 days over 7. Shifts will be allocated on a rota basis and will include evenings and weekends.
Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Lead your catering team in providing a cooked from fresh daily food offer for residents and patients
- Oversee all aspects of kitchen management, daily due diligence and staff management
- Effectively manage the catering budget
- Prepare meals to the highest possible standards, using fresh ingredients, and presented with love and care.
- Provide daily breakfast, lunch, and evening meals.
- Keep up to date with the menus and what food is on offer.
- Ensure that COSHH, food safety, and health and safety legislation are followed.

Qualifications
As our Cook You Will...
- Be experienced, creative, and passionate about cooking with fresh produce.
- Be an effective team worker.
- Possess excellent culinary skills and be up to date with current food trends.
- Have knowledge of the IDDSI framework, though full training will be provided
- Be comfortable engaging with vulnerable adults and their relatives.
- Have excellent communication and people skills.
- An NVQ level 2 or equivalent is desirable but not essential
- Have completed Health & Safety and Food Safety Training
