Silicon Verification Engineer – Graphcore

About the Role

Own verification that turns complex silicon architecture into reliable AI compute hardware.

As a Silicon Verification Engineer, you will:

  • Help ensure Graphcore RTL matches the architecture specification

  • Work at the intersection of architecture, logical design, and verification, directly influencing how issues are found, understood, and resolved

This role demands technical depth with a clear impact:

  • Plan verification, define coverage goals, generate tests
  • Diagnose failures and improve shared infrastructure
  • Drive discipline, pace, and quality for AI compute programs at scale

The Team and Culture

The verification team collaborates closely with Architecture, Logical Design, and Physical Design teams, guided by:

  • Clear plans, coverage goals, test results, and real-time technical feedback
  • A culture of ownership, transparency, and collaborative problem-solving
  • Decisions made through technical reasoning, shared data, and practical trade-offs

Contribute and lead based on expertise, not hierarchy. The team values individuals who: ✔ Speak up early ✔ Simplify complex challenges ✔ Maintain open communication across sites

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
