This is an opportunity for a Band 6 role on ward 203/Royal Derby Spinal Centre within Trauma and Orthopaedics.
We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our management team, who possess excellent communication and leadership skills, and promote excellent quality of care, whilst supporting junior staff on the ward to do the same. The role will entail working weekends, bank holidays and nights to provide unit bleep cover.
Key Requirements
- Demonstrable years of experience within Trauma and Orthopaedics
- Experience working with acutely unwell patients and complex discharge planning
Responsibilities
- Support and mentor junior members of the team with your experience and knowledge
- Ensure staff wellbeing, completing appraisals, dealing with conflict and more
- Complete audits, rosters, reports, attend meetings and liaise with all members of the MDT
