Band 6 Ward Sister / Charge Nurse – Fountains Ward (Trauma & Orthopaedics)

We are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for a Band 6 Nurse to join our friendly and supportive Trauma & Orthopaedic team on Fountains Ward.

As part of our dedicated multidisciplinary team, you will play a key role in providing high-quality, patient-centred care while supporting the professional development of colleagues and contributing to the continued success of the ward.

The Post Holder Will

  • Be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of care for our patients in the ward.
  • Provide professional, clinical and managerial leadership to nursing staff within the ward.
  • Contribute to managing the nursing and material resources of the ward in a flexible and cost-effective way.
  • Support the Ward Manager.
  • Act as a role model and lead with honesty and integrity
  • Support student nurses and junior staff
