About The Role

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Site Administration and Vetting Support to join our Ground Engineering team at the Sizewell C project.

Role purpose: To provide analytical support to the project site vetting teams, and coordinate security vetting internally and with the client.

What you'll be doing

Duties

The successful candidate will undertake a full range of administrative duties to ensure an efficient vetting service is delivered to the project team, including but not limited to:

  • Maintain accurate, secure paper and electronic filing systems and databases;
  • Use Microsoft Office to produce spreadsheets, documents and presentations formatted to client standards;
  • Guide employees and agency workers through the vetting process, gathering, verifying and submitting the required identification and documentation;
  • Coordinate all security vetting activity with project and client teams;
  • Carry out ad hoc confidential project work and protect sensitive business information;
  • Support other Administrators during absences or periods of high workload;
  • Book UK travel and accommodation, and organise meetings or conferences, including facilities, minutes and distribution;
  • Manage incoming quality documents from the supply chain and subcontractors, uploading them to the electronic database;
  • Maintain document registers and support engineers in keeping complete, accurate and up-to-date lifetime quality records;
  • Maintain a relentless focus on Zero Harm and Right First Time, while supporting the project’s Sustainability and Community Engagement activities.

  • Substantial secretarial or administrative experience within a busy team environment;
  • Highly organised, proactive and able to work independently using a logical approach;
  • Strong communication, influencing and general team management skills;
  • Excellent customer focus with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels;
  • Excellent typing and IT skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint;
  • Discreet and able to handle confidential or sensitive matters appropriately;

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to work effectively under pressure and to tight timescales.
