Project Administrator – Hinkley Point C

Location: Hinkley Point C, Bridgwater, Somerset
Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:30–16:00
We are currently recruiting for a Project Administrator to join a busy project team working at Hinkley Point C in Bridgwater.
This is a varied administration role supporting the project across workforce onboarding, compliance, training, documentation and general project administration. The ideal candidate will be organised, detail-focused and confident communicating with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
The Role
- Manage the onboarding and vetting of operatives, including leavers, rehires and transfers.
- Track applications and ensure all compliance documentation is completed and securely stored.
- Arrange medicals, drug & alcohol testing, behavioural safety training and site inductions.
- Assist with supply chain onboarding, training and compliance requirements.
- Collate evidence for C&Q Matrix requirements and ensure documentation is correctly filed for audit purposes.
- Organise site delivery vehicle bookings and process requests for temporary workers, visitors and other operational requirements.
- Provide general project administration support, including meeting coordination, minute-taking, forecasting and document management.
- Deal professionally with internal and external stakeholders via telephone, email and face-to-face.

About You
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Able to plan and prioritise your own workload, use initiative and meet deadlines.
- Good written and verbal communication skills, with discretion when handling confidential information.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Comfortable learning and using bespoke software systems.
- Full driving licence or own means of transport.
- Able to successfully complete BPSS vetting and drug & alcohol testing.

Previous administration experience within construction, engineering, nuclear or a major project environment would be advantageous, although not essential.
