BAM UK & Ireland is recruiting a Site Administrator & Customer Care Coordinator. The role will be primarily based in the Leeds office, with travel required to site and project activities as requirements dictate. For this reason, a driving licence will be essential.
This role will provide comprehensive administrative, document control, and customer care support across construction projects and the aftercare function. The role is responsible for maintaining project information systems, supporting project governance and compliance requirements, coordinating defect management activities, and ensuring accurate project records are maintained throughout the project lifecycle and defects liability period.
Making Possible
The role supports both live construction projects and customer care operations across multiple sites and projects.
Responsibilities include:
- Project administration and document control
- Customer care and defect management coordination
- Information management across digital construction platforms
- Site office administration and support
- Compliance and quality assurance record management
- Supply chain coordination and communication
- Environmental and sustainability reporting support
- Audit readiness and project record maintenance
The role requires close collaboration with Project Managers, Site Managers, Engineers, Design Managers, Customer Care teams, subcontractors, and clients.

What do you bring to the role?
Qualifications
- GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics.
- Relevant administration, business support, or document control qualification, or equivalent experience.
Experience
- Previous experience in an administrative, coordinator, document control, or project support role.
- Experience working within construction, engineering, or a project-based environment.
- Experience managing electronic filing systems and project documentation.
- Experience using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Excellent attention to detail and record-keeping capability.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working with customers, supply chain partners, and project teams.
Desirable Qualifications & Experience
- Experience in a construction site administration or document control role.
- Familiarity with BIM 360, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), SharePoint, OpenText, Forma, or similar common data environments.
- Knowledge of quality assurance and project compliance processes.
- Experience supporting customer care, aftercare, or defects management activities.
- Understanding of health & safety documentation and construction project governance.
- Experience supporting sustainability reporting, environmental monitoring, or BREEAM-related activities.
- Knowledge of document control best practice within a construction environment.
