We are looking for an experienced and driven Site Agent to join our team supporting the delivery of major electrical infrastructure projects across the North of Scotland. Working on a significant long-term framework, you will play a key role in managing site operations, leading project delivery teams, and ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

Role Responsibilities
- Lead and manage site operations to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
- Oversee site setup activities and coordinate construction works throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage and supervise site teams, subcontractors, and project resources.
- Support the delivery of surveys, ground investigations, constructability assessments, and site inputs into design development.
- Contribute to construction methodologies, project programmes, and delivery strategies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a key point of contact for meetings, reviews, and reporting.
- Monitor project performance, progress, costs, and programme delivery, ensuring accurate reporting and record keeping.
- Prepare project documentation, presentations, and progress reports.
- Manage and coordinate temporary works activities and associated requirements.
- Forecast project costs and resource requirements to support successful project delivery.
- Support the development and mentoring of site personnel through effective leadership and line management.
- Ensure works are completed to the required quality standards and achieve a defect-free handover.
- Collaborate closely with project management, engineering, commercial, and operational teams to deliver successful outcomes.
Skills, Experience And Qualifications
- Experience in a Site Agent, Sub-Agent, or similar construction leadership role.
- Strong experience delivering civil engineering and infrastructure projects.
- Knowledge of earthworks, drainage, retaining structures, concrete works, and associated construction activities.
- Experience managing site teams, subcontractors, plant, materials, and project resources.
- Strong understanding of construction planning, programme management, and cost forecasting.
- Experience managing health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements on site.
- Knowledge of temporary works management and construction site operations.
- Experience collaborating directly with clients and presenting project updates and progress reports.
- The ability to lead, motivate, and develop site teams within a collaborative environment.
- Knowledge of cable duct installation and cable laying works.
- Strong organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- HND, Degree Apprenticeship, or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Membership or Associate Membership of the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) or a relevant professional construction body is desirable.

We have extensive experience in upgrading and replacing energy networks, delivering asset management for major UK energy companies and network operators.
Our transmission and distribution services involve the upgrading and replacement of electricity assets both above and below ground. Within the electricity sector we install and maintain assets, including excavation, laying, and jointing of cables, (fluid filled and XLPe), substations and overhead line, new build, repair, and refurbishment services.
