Site Agent – Civils & Infrastructure

Location: Bedfordshire / Project-based
Sector: Civils & Infrastructure

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Site Agent to join a growing delivery team, working across civils and infrastructure projects.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys taking ownership of site delivery, leading teams and making sure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to programme.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for the day-to-day management and coordination of site operations, working closely with Project Managers, Engineers, Commercial, HSEQ, clients and subcontractors.

  • Managing site teams, engineers, supervisors and subcontractors
  • Planning and sequencing works and managing short-term programmes
  • Overseeing RAMS, ITPs, quality and HSEQ requirements
  • Managing labour, plant and materials
  • Monitoring progress and taking corrective action where needed
  • Managing subcontractors, procurement and site records
  • Identifying variations, delays and risks
  • Working closely with clients, design teams and key stakeholders
  • Supporting project handover and close-out

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience as a Site Agent / Site Manager within civils or infrastructure
  • Experience across highways, earthworks, S278 or similar
  • HNC/HND in Civil Engineering or equivalent experience
  • SMSTS
  • CSCS Manager-level card
  • Strong understanding of civil engineering and construction methods
  • Good commercial and contractual awareness
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Full clean driving licence

Experience working with developers, local authorities or National Highways would be advantageous.

You’ll need to be comfortable travelling and working away when required.
