About The Role
The Site Agent position in Bath requires an experienced professional to lead daily operations on a significant infrastructure scheme. This contract role, paying £350–£400 per day via umbrella, offers an immediate start for three months. You will coordinate construction activities, manage subcontractor performance, and ensure safety and quality standards are met. An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Site Agent to join a major civil engineering project in Bath.
Working on a busy infrastructure scheme, you'll be responsible for leading site operations, managing subcontractors and ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to the highest quality standards.
The Role
- Lead site teams and subcontractors on a daily basis
- Plan and coordinate construction activities
- Monitor progress against programme and report any issues
- Deliver daily site briefings and oversee subcontractor task briefings
- Maintain accurate site records, daily diaries and as-built information
- Attend client meetings and provide delivery updates
- Manage programme updates and formal communications
- Ensure full compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality standards

About You
- Proven experience as a Site Agent within civil engineering or highways
- Strong NEC contract experience
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Commercial awareness and programme management experience
- Experience managing subcontractors and delivering projects safely
- SMSTS and CSCS essential
