Due to continued success, we are now recruiting for a Sub Agent to work in our Southern Region around the Hampshire/Berkshire/Surrey area.
Main Duties
- Management of site staff, operatives, and sub-contractors.
- Provide method statements, hazard risk assessments, and project management plans.
- Understand tender allowances and monitor contract costs against agreed budgets.
- Preparing and monitoring programmes of work.
- Assessment and engagement of sub-contractors.
- Manage design coordination and control project risks.
- Manage contracts to ensure timely and profitable completion of contracts.
- Inform, consult, and involve local groups as necessary.
- Foster good relations and reputation with clients.
- Understand and administer contract change.
- Supervise, mentor, and assist in the career development of junior staff.

Are you the person we are looking for?
Already experienced as a Site Agent or Senior Site Agent, you will have a relevant industry qualification (HND/HNC/BEng) or equivalent and an up-to-date SMSTS qualification, and appropriate CSCS card. A First Aid at work qualification is desirable.
You will also have experience of managing civil engineering projects with a main contractor along with previous experience on Highways, Earthworks, and Structures experience.
Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK and have a full UK driving licence.
Must Haves
- Be able to maintain and monitor works against a programme and budget.
- Ability to prioritize own workload.
- Able to run multiple complex and non-complex sites.
- Maintain comprehensive records.
- Have compliance with current legislation requirements, including the production and implementation of RAMs and other associated safety/project documentation.
- The ability to forecast cost and programme.
