Are you within an estates team looking for your next opportunity?
We’re looking to recruit a Site Assistant to join our busy Estates Team.
Here’s the standard bit:
We are looking for someone who can work collaboratively with the Estates Supervisor in carrying out routine and everyday maintenance across all sites. The successful candidate would be expected to actively fault find across college and report; To be aware of and support the extra responsibilities towards disabled staff and students; Removing snow from main entrances and to treat paths and steps with salt during periods of ice and snow; Collecting litter from collection points and removing to bin areas; To report blocked drains and gullies.
To undertake, if necessary, basic cleaning duties. This includes the daily cleaning of a specified area within the buildings to the standard defined in the cleaning specification, ensuring all cleaning equipment, when used, is properly cleaned and stored, assisting cleaning staff in the provision of cleaning cover during periods of staff shortage and to undertake the cleaning of special areas (if required) in ensuring that general surrounds of the buildings are tidy and litter free.
What you’ll need:
We are looking for an enthusiastic, resilient and a highly motivated individual, with a relevant L2 qualification and/or equivalent experience coupled with a thorough knowledge education and general maintenance as detailed in the specification. You will be a strong team player with excellent communication skills. The successful candidate for this role must also have a full driving license.
