Site Based Technician
Bicester
40 Hours per week
Dalkia is seeking a Site Based Technician to carry out planned and reactive maintenance works to a high standard while ensuring compliance with company procedures, health and safety regulations, and client requirements. The role involves a wide range of building fabric and maintenance tasks, supporting site operations, and delivering excellent customer service across all activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance works within agreed timescales and to the highest standards.
- Inspect plant and equipment, ensuring all inspection results are recorded accurately.
- Complete maintenance activities both independently and as part of a wider maintenance team.
- Undertake minor maintenance and repair tasks without direct supervision.
- Ensure practical completion of works within scheduled timeframes.
- Carry out a range of building fabric repairs and minor civil works.
- Observe and promote high standards of health and safety at all times.
- Follow all company procedures, site protocols, and quality management processes.

Perform general maintenance duties including:
- Plastering and tiling
- Painting and decorating
- Minor roof patch repairs
- Furniture moving and setup
- Tap temperature monitoring
- Emergency lighting testing
- Weekly fire alarm testing
- Escort and monitor subcontractors on site.
- Replenish local site stock and transport materials between suppliers and site locations.
- Ensure appropriate waste management and housekeeping standards are maintained.
Essential Requirements:
- Multi-skilled individual with experience in one or more trade disciplines.
- Good knowledge of safe working practices and site safety regulations.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks efficiently.
- Proactive, motivated, and reliable approach to work.
- Comfortable working at height.
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Experience in building fabric maintenance.
- Knowledge of planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
- Experience carrying out minor repairs across multiple trades.
- Familiarity with health and safety compliance procedures.
