Helm Campaigns is a face-to-face fundraising agency that partners with charities across the UK to help them build strong, lasting donor relationships. The organization works exclusively with experienced, self-employed fundraisers at private outdoor locations such as farmers markets, garden centres, and country shows. Helm Campaigns focuses on creating meaningful conversations that lead to committed donors and improved retention. The team values professionalism, collaboration, and high-quality interactions that support charitable causes and sustainable fundraising outcomes.
Role Description
The Site Booker is a part-time (3 days per week), remote and hybrid role based in London, responsible for securing and managing locations for fundraising activities. In this role, the Site Booker researches and identifies suitable private outdoor sites, negotiates booking arrangements, and maintains positive relationships with site owners and managers. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating site schedules, confirming bookings, updating internal records, and ensuring fundraisers have accurate information and access to each venue. The role also involves collaborating with project leads to match sites with campaign needs, monitoring site performance, and providing regular updates to the wider team. The Site Booker supports training and onboarding for new site processes, helping ensure smooth operations and effective face-to-face fundraising.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with site owners, managers, and internal teams.
- Customer service skills to build and maintain positive, professional relationships with external partners.
- Research skills to identify, evaluate, and secure suitable sites for face-to-face fundraising campaigns.
- Project management abilities to coordinate multiple bookings, timelines, and site logistics in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience providing training or guidance on processes and site requirements to colleagues or partners.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills for managing contracts, schedules, and documentation.
- Proficiency with common office software and digital tools (e.g., spreadsheets, CRM or booking systems).
- Prior experience in fundraising, events, field marketing, or venue booking is an advantage but not required.
- Ability to work on-site in London, collaborate with diverse stakeholders, and adapt to changing campaign needs.
