We are currently recruiting for an experienced Cleaning Manager to take responsibility for a single leisure site in Belfast, offering a salary of £30,000.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being hands-on, visible, and involved in the day-to-day running of a site. You'll have the autonomy to manage standards, people, and performance while working closely with the client and wider management team.

Your Role
As Cleaning Manager, you'll be responsible for the overall cleaning operation at the site, ensuring excellent standards are maintained and the team is well managed and motivated.

Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Managing the day-to-day cleaning operation across the leisure site
- Leading, motivating, and supporting the cleaning team
- Planning rotas and ensuring appropriate staffing levels
- Carrying out regular quality checks and site inspections
- Maintaining consistently high cleaning and presentation standards
- Managing client relationships and responding to any issues or requirements
- Monitoring performance against KPIs and service standards
- Supporting recruitment, training, and onboarding of cleaning staff
- Managing absence and ensuring adequate cover is maintained
- Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety and company procedures
- Identifying opportunities to improve standards, efficiency, and customer experience
Hours & Working Pattern
This role offers 30-35 hours per week, working five days out of seven.
Due to the nature of the leisure environment, flexibility is essential. The successful candidate will need to be comfortable working a mixture of:
- Early starts from 5:30am
- Late finishes up to 10:30pm
- Weekend working
- Mid-shifts, typically around 9:00am-5:00pm
The role will involve a mixture of shift patterns, so candidates must be flexible and able to adapt to the operational needs of the site.
Where fewer than 35 hours are worked in a particular week, the remaining hours will be banked to provide additional cover for absence and sickness. The exact process for recording and using these hours will be agreed and confirmed prior to appointment.

About You
We're looking for an experienced cleaning professional who is confident managing a team and taking ownership of a busy site.
You'll Ideally Have
- Previous experience in a Cleaning Manager, Site Manager, Supervisor, or similar role
- Experience managing cleaning teams
- Strong leadership and people-management skills
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- A proactive approach to maintaining high standards
- Experience working within leisure, hospitality, retail, facilities management, or another customer-facing environment would be advantageous
- Good understanding of Health & Safety and cleaning standards
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends
- A reliable and professional approach

Belfast - 5 miles from City Centre
This is a single-site role, giving you the opportunity to build strong relationships with your team and client while taking real ownership of the cleaning operation.
