About The Role
SBFM is looking for an organised, proactive and people-focused Site Coordinator to join our team in Eltham.
This is a varied and fast-paced role where you’ll play an important part in keeping our sites running smoothly. You’ll manage an assigned portfolio of sites, working closely with employees, Area Managers, the Mobile Team and clients to ensure staffing, onboarding, training, attendance and day-to-day operational requirements are effectively managed.
You’ll need to be comfortable juggling multiple priorities, solving problems and communicating with a wide range of people. No two days are likely to be the same, making this a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a busy, people-focused environment.
What You'll Be Doing
- Managing an assigned portfolio of sites, keeping an overview of staffing, vacancies, attendance, training and operational requirements.
- Maintaining accurate employee and site records across company systems and escalating any risks or unresolved issues where required.
- Supporting recruitment activity, including advertising vacancies, reviewing applications, arranging and conducting interviews and progressing successful candidates.
- Managing the onboarding process from start to finish, including right-to-work and visa checks in line with company procedures and legislation.
- Coordinating new starter setup across HR, payroll, timekeeping and operational systems, ensuring employees understand their role, hours and site requirements.
- Organising and monitoring training, working closely with employees, trainers, Area Managers and the Mobile Team to ensure mandatory training is completed.
- Coordinating sickness and absence cover, ensuring shifts are appropriately covered and escalating any service risks.
- Supporting formal employee meetings, including disciplinary hearings where appropriate, ensuring documentation and records are accurate and confidential.
- Checking attendance and timekeeping information, investigating discrepancies and ensuring accurate payroll information is submitted within deadlines.
- Acting as a key point of contact for employees, Area Managers, the Mobile Team and clients, responding to queries and providing clear and timely updates.
- Escalating complaints, employee issues or operational concerns where appropriate and working collaboratively to find solutions.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
