Site Operations & Maintenance Coordinator
Location: Alloa, Scotland, with regular UK site travel
Salary: £25,000–£35,000 + benefits
Working pattern: Hybrid, 37.5 hours per week
Reporting to: Asset Manager
About the company
Our client is an established independent renewable-energy developer, owner and operator with a growing portfolio of operational generation assets across the UK. They develop, build and manage renewable projects with a practical, long-term approach to site performance, safety and local stakeholder relationships.
The role
We are seeking a Site Operations & Maintenance Coordinator to support the safe, efficient operation of a portfolio of wind generation sites.
You will be the key day-to-day operational contact, coordinating contractors, planning maintenance activity, monitoring performance, maintaining site records and ensuring works are completed safely and to a high standard. This is a varied, hands-on role with regular travel to operational sites across the UK.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate planned and reactive maintenance works across operational wind sites.
- Plan site schedules, contractor access, inductions and toolbox talks.
- Conduct regular site inspections and support high-level H&S audits of third-party contractors.
- Monitor production and site performance through SCADA, responding to faults and helping reduce downtime.
- Manage regular maintenance of site equipment, infrastructure, security and safety systems.
- Maintain accurate site records, logs, inspection reports and planned-work schedules.
- Track actual spend against planned expenditure and support site cost control.
- Coordinate specialist contractors for detailed inspections and repair works.
- Support environmental and habitat-management activity on site.
- Maintain positive relationships with landowners, local communities and project stakeholders.
- Undertake or coordinate minor site works, including general upkeep, vegetation management and basic maintenance.

Candidate requirements
Essential:
- Experience in wind-site O&M, wind operations or a closely related operational renewables role.
- Strong practical understanding of site safety and contractor management.
- Clear written and verbal communication, including producing accurate reports.
- Good administration, record-keeping and planning skills.
- Comfortable managing several sites or priorities at once.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Willingness to travel regularly and stay away from home occasionally.
- Comfortable working independently at remote and physically demanding sites.

Desirable:
- SCADA monitoring experience.
- Wind Turbine Safety Rules and/or HV safety knowledge.
- GWO Working at Height certification.
- First aid, manual handling or other relevant H&S qualifications.
- Confidence using basic hand and power tools safely.

- £25,000–£35,000 depending on experience.
- 25 days’ annual leave plus 12 statutory/office closure days.
