Site Director
£120k – £130k plus Full Package, Greater London - Food Manufacturing
This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Site Director to join a growing food manufacturing business with a strong retail customer base, an excellent reputation for quality and innovation, and ambitious plans for the future.
The business is looking for a dynamic site leader who can shape and deliver the site strategy, develop a high-performing leadership team, and drive operational excellence in a fast-paced FMCG environment. This role offers genuine career progression within a group that has demonstrated exceptional growth and can provide further senior leadership opportunities.
The Role
As Site Director, you will be responsible for the overall performance of the site, providing visible leadership and ensuring all functions are aligned to achieve both short and long-term business objectives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the site with clear direction, vision, and accountability.
- Managing and developing the senior leadership team, bringing all functions together to achieve common goals.
- Driving operational excellence while maintaining a strong focus on customer service, quality, safety, and cost.
- Developing and implementing site strategy to support business growth and continuous improvement.
- Taking ownership of site financial performance, including budget management and resource allocation.
- Monitoring operational performance, identifying variances, and implementing improvement plans.
- Resolving unexpected challenges and ensuring effective decision-making in a fast-changing environment.
- Delivering against daily, weekly, and strategic business objectives.
- Building and maintaining a positive, engaged culture centred around teamwork, communication, and high performance.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A proven track record of senior site leadership within Food Manufacturing.
- Experience leading multi-functional teams in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen with experience managing significant site budgets.
- A proven ability to balance operational performance, customer service, and product quality.
- Experience driving change, delivering improvements, and developing high-performing teams.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- The ability to remain adaptable, decisive, and resilient when faced with operational challenges.
