The Company
This is a rare opportunity to join a rapidly expanding international manufacturer at a pivotal stage of its growth journey. Following significant investment, increased production capacity, and ambitious expansion plans, the business is seeking an exceptional Site Director, to take ownership of a flagship manufacturing site and help create a world-class operation.

Recent growth has been significant, with major increases in headcount, production output, capital investment, and operational capacity. The Role
With substantial growth already achieved and further investment planned, this role offers a genuine platform to influence strategy, accelerate operational excellence, with full site leadership and P&L responsibility.

This is a highly visible leadership, entrepreneurial attitude, this role will require someone equally comfortable on the shop floor and in strategic discussions. Approximately 75% of the role will involve hands-on operational leadership, with 25% focused on longer-term strategic improvement and growth initiatives.
- Full site leadership and P&L responsibility for a manufacturing operation exceeding £30m turnover.
- Lead and develop a workforce of 100+ employees through a senior management team.
- Deliver improvements in productivity, efficiency, quality, service, and profitability.
- Drive operational excellence, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement programmes.
- Support business growth, capacity expansion, and investment projects.
- Build leadership capability, succession planning, and employee engagement across the site.
- Ensure the highest standards of quality, compliance, and health & safety.
The Skills
- Proven experience leading a highly regulated manufacturing site.
- Proven experience leading a manufacturing site or business unit with full P&L accountability of £25 million+.
- Business unit or operational function.
- Senior manufacturing leadership experience, ideally 5 years+.
- A background within a regulated production environment.
- A track record of operational improvement, transformation, or scaling businesses.
- Strong lean manufacturing and continuous improvement expertise.
- Experience leading multi-functional teams, 100+.
- A hands-on leadership style with the credibility to influence at all levels.
- Strong problem-solving, coaching, and performance management skills.
- Commercially astute with experience managing budgets, forecasts, and investment decisions.
