Patch Places – Site Director / General Manager
Permanent Contract
Role to commence: November 2026
Salary: £37,000 - £42,000 (based on experience) + company stock options
Full-time: High Wycombe-based
Working pattern: Core hours are 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, Monday to Friday. As the leader of the site, you'll sometimes be there for evening events and the occasional weekend, working alongside your team. Shift patterns are planned in advance, and time is balanced across the week so hours stay fair.

Your Opportunity
Over the last three years, Patch in High Wycombe has turned the town's old public library into a much-loved workspace. It's home to local founders, creatives, small businesses and community builders, five minutes' walk from the station.
There's a well-established community of coworking members and private office teams, and the site is fast becoming the go-to venue in town for events, with the double-height Reading Room at its heart.
We're looking for an exceptional Site Director / General Manager to take the reins at High Wycombe and build on everything that's been achieved so far.
You'll own the commercial, operational and cultural performance of the site, leading a small, close-knit team, deepening the membership community and raising the bar on events and hospitality every day. You'll work alongside a Community Executive on site, supported by specialist colleagues across Operations, Sales, Marketing, Activation and Creative.
You'll protect and raise the member experience, strengthen local partnerships and keep building High Wycombe's reputation as the place in town to work, meet and connect.

Lead an Exceptional Patch
You'll take overall responsibility for the ongoing commercial success of the site, owning membership growth, financial performance and day-to-day operations. You'll lead the site team and keep the conditions right for Patch High Wycombe to keep thriving.
Grow a Thriving Business
You'll drive continued membership sales, deepen local partnerships and build lasting relationships across High Wycombe's business community. From first enquiry through to long-term membership and renewal, you'll create commercial momentum that sustains and accelerates growth.
Deliver Outstanding Member Experiences
You'll uphold the high standard of hospitality the site is known for, ensuring members continue to feel genuinely welcomed, supported and connected. Working alongside your team, you'll ensure every interaction reflects the warmth, creativity and professionalism of the Patch brand.

Experience
We're looking for someone excited by the chance to take something good and make it exceptional. Ideally, you'll bring:
- Experience leading customer-facing operations within hospitality, coworking, business support or membership organisations.
- Proven responsibility for commercial performance, with experience growing revenue and managing budgets.
- Experience leading, developing and motivating high-performing teams.
- Strong commercial instincts, with the ability to build relationships, convert opportunities and grow a thriving business.
- Confidence using CRM and operational systems such as HubSpot, Nexudus or similar platforms.
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to balance commercial priorities, operations and people leadership.
- A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset, with the confidence to take ownership and build new opportunities.
