Lead a Key Manufacturing Site at Pilgrim's Europe!
Pilgrim's Europe is seeking an exceptional Site Director to lead our Bodmin operation.
This is a high-impact leadership role with full responsibility for site performance, people, safety, quality, customer service, and financial delivery. As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will drive operational excellence, lead a high-performing management team, and deliver strategic growth within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.
We're looking for a proven manufacturing leader who can inspire teams, champion continuous improvement, and ensure the highest standards of food safety, quality, and operational performance.
What You'll Be Responsible For
- Leading all aspects of site operations, ensuring a safe, efficient, and high-performing manufacturing environment.
- Delivering site strategy aligned with wider business objectives.
- Driving a strong culture of Health & Safety, food safety, quality, and compliance.
- Managing site financial performance, budgets, profitability, and cost control initiatives.
- Leading and developing a multi-functional management team, creating robust succession plans and future leaders.
- Driving Operational Excellence, Lean Manufacturing, and Continuous Improvement programmes.
- Building strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and key stakeholders.
- Ensuring excellent service levels, operational reliability, and customer satisfaction.
- Championing a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement across the site.

Essential
About You
- Senior leadership experience within food manufacturing, FMCG, or a complex manufacturing environment.
- Proven responsibility for site-wide operations and P&L performance.
- Strong track record of leading large teams and developing leadership capability.
- Experience driving continuous improvement, efficiency, and operational excellence.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen.
- Excellent stakeholder and customer management skills.
- Passion for creating high-performing teams and positive site cultures.

Desirable
- Degree qualified.
- Lean Manufacturing, Operational Excellence, or Six Sigma experience.
- Food manufacturing leadership experience.
- NEBOSH, IOSH, HACCP, or related qualifications.
