Shift Based Role

At Arla, our Aylesbury Dairy plays an important role in producing food that is loved by millions. As Site Duty Manager, you will help lead day-to-day operations across the site, working closely with teams across production, maintenance, logistics, scheduling, engineering and process to ensure smooth end-to-end delivery.

Reporting to Gary Norton, you will be a key point of contact for operational performance, safety, quality and site continuity.

How You Will Make An Impact

In this role, you will oversee site operations and help ensure that our manufacturing processes run safely, efficiently and in line with our quality standards. You will take accountability for site performance, coordinate teams across the operation and identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce downtime and support continuous improvement.

  • Promote and maintain a strong safety culture by ensuring safety protocols are followed, supporting regular safety audits and responding promptly to any concerns.
  • Supervise and coordinate manufacturing activities to help achieve site targets while maintaining quality standards and compliance with safety regulations.
  • Coordinate site personnel, supporting a positive working environment and ensuring teams are aligned on priorities throughout the shift.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to optimise site efficiency, minimise waste and reduce operational downtime.
  • Monitor site performance, inventory levels, quality checks and operational issues, preparing updates and escalating actionable solutions where needed.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
