PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
The Site Electrical Engineer is responsible for ensuring the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of all electrical infrastructure across the site. The role focuses on the maintenance, management, and optimisation of medium voltage electrical systems, utilities, and infrastructure while ensuring adherence to statutory requirements and SHEQ standards.

- Ensure full compliance with OHSA and Regulations in relation to machinery, with a strong focus on electrical infrastructure.
- Manage and maintain all medium voltage electrical installations, including Solar PV and micro-grid systems.
- Ensure plant and machinery comply with internal and external engineering standards and specifications.
- Participate in capital projects and provide technical expertise to support execution and delivery.
- Oversee site utilities (electricity, gas, and water), including performance monitoring, reporting, and supplier engagement.
- Drive energy efficiency and ESG-related initiatives across the site.
- Ensure the successful navigation of all internal and external audits in relation to the supervision and maintenance of machinery.
- Compile and present technical and operational reports to management and statutory authorities.
- Lead and develop engineering capability within the organisation through training and mentorship.
