Site/Section Engineer
We are currently recruiting for a Site/Section Engineer to join one of our well-established clients in Gatwick.
Our client is a leading UK construction company specialising in groundworks, civil engineering and infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out and manage all setting out activities on site.
- Ensure works are completed in accordance with drawings, specifications and project requirements.
- Coordinate with site management, subcontractors and design teams.
- Maintain accurate site records, surveys and as-built information.
- Monitor quality standards and undertake regular inspections.
- Assist with the preparation and review of RAMS and site documentation.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations.
- Identify and resolve technical issues on site.
- Support programme delivery and progress reporting.
- Oversee subcontractor works and ensure adherence to project standards.

Skills & Requirements
- Previous experience working as a Site Engineer or Section Engineer within groundworks, civil engineering or infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of setting out using surveying equipment including GPS and Total Stations.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and engineering specifications.
- Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating site activities.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in maintaining accurate engineering records and site documentation.
- Degree / HNC / HND in Civil Engineering or related discipline
- CSCS Card
- SMSTS or SSSTS
- First Aid at Work
- Full UK Driving Licence
