Job Introduction

The Site Engineer will act as the primary engineering representative for mitigation works delivered within the Euston Delivery Unit (EDU). The role will support the full lifecycle of mitigation activities - from early planning and coordination through to delivery, assurance, and closeout - ensuring works are executed safely, compliantly, and in line with technical, environmental, and stakeholder requirements.

Main Responsibilities

Planning & Pre-Construction

  • Support the development of mitigation strategies, methodologies, and safe systems of work for EDU activities.
  • Assist in preparing and coordinating RAMS, Work Package Plans (WPPs), Task Briefing Sheets (TBS), and permits.
  • Contribute to early-stage constructability reviews, identifying constraints, risks, and opportunities.
  • Coordinate with design, temporary works, and asset protection teams to ensure readiness for site delivery.
  • Engage with stakeholders and internal disciplines to confirm scope, access requirements, and programme constraints.

Delivery & Oversight

  • Act as the site-based engineering lead during mitigation works, ensuring compliance with approved designs and methodologies.
  • Carry out setting out and provide technical guidance to supervisors and operatives.
  • Monitor subcontractor performance, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and environmental requirements.
  • Ensure all permits, consents, and documentation are in place prior to commencing works.
  • Maintain accurate site records including site diaries, progress updates, and issue logs.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
