We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Engineer to join a major Thames Water infrastructure project based in Oxford. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a high-profile utilities project with an immediate start available and the potential for contract extension.

The Role

As Site Engineer, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of the project, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and in accordance with the required specifications and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out setting out and surveying activities on site.
  • Ensure works are delivered in line with engineering drawings and project specifications.
  • Maintain accurate site records, quality documentation and as-built information.
  • Coordinate with site teams, subcontractors and the client to ensure efficient project delivery.
  • Monitor progress and identify any engineering issues.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental standards at all times.
  • Support the Site Manager and Project Manager with the day-to-day delivery of the project.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Site Engineer on civil engineering, infrastructure or utilities projects.
  • SMSTS qualification (essential).
  • Previous Thames Water project experience is highly desirable.
  • Strong setting out, surveying and quality assurance experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
