Site Engineer

We are looking for a motivated and ambitious Site Engineer to join our team, supporting the delivery of a major rail infrastructure project. This is an excellent opportunity to work on the construction of a significant scheme while developing your technical expertise and taking on increasing levels of responsibility within a supportive and collaborative environment.
As a key member of the site team, you will play a key role in ensuring construction activities are delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with design requirements. Working closely with operational and engineering teams, you will help drive quality and accuracy throughout project delivery.
Role Responsibilities
- Conduct setting out activities to support construction works on site.
- Ensure all construction works are delivered accurately and in accordance with approved design drawings and specifications.
- Monitor quality and compliance throughout the construction process.
- Support the planning, coordination, and implementation of site activities.
- Work collaboratively with site management and operational teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Assist with resolving engineering and technical issues as they arise.
- Maintain accurate site records and documentation.
- Promote and uphold health, safety, and environmental standards always.

Skills, Experience And Qualifications
- HND, Degree, Degree Apprenticeship, or equivalent qualification in a relevant engineering discipline.
- Experience conducting setting out duties on construction projects.
- Experience working within a construction site environment.
- Knowledge of construction methods and techniques relating to structures and civil engineering works.
- Experience working with precast concrete elements.
- Experience delivering projects within a rail environment.
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings and specifications.
- Effective communication and organisational skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- An initiative-taking approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
