Your new role
As a Site Engineer, you will play a critical role in assisting the Project Manager in overseeing the delivery of ground investigation and contaminated land projects. You will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with all relevant regulations and quality standards.

Key responsibilities include:
- Supervise and coordinate site-based ground investigation and contaminated land activities, ensuring works are carried out safely and efficiently.
- Monitor project schedules and collaborate with subcontractors, clients, and stakeholders to ensure adherence to programme timelines.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date daily site records, including site logs, photographs, equipment, and labour resources.
- Assist in resolving site and construction-related issues, communicating changes to Project Managers, Engineers, and Clients.
- Oversee site investigations, including boreholes, trial pits, and in-situ testing, ensuring works are completed in accordance with project specifications.
About you

The candidate will have a strong background in geotechnical engineering. You will provide technical support on site and ensure all aspects of the works, from planning through to completion, are carried out safely and efficiently.
Some essentials include:
- Strong experience in geotechnical engineering, ground investigations, and/or contaminated land projects.
- SMSTS qualification.
- Highly organised, with the ability to coordinate multiple contractors and site activities simultaneously.
- Strong and clear communicator, able to report to the Project Manager and liaise effectively with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
