Are you an experienced Site Engineer looking for your next move? ScaleX™ Talent Solutions are working with an established construction and civil engineering contractor to recruit a Site Engineer to join their growing team across the East Midlands.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced engineer who enjoys being hands-on on site, taking ownership of setting out and working closely with site teams to keep projects moving.
What you'll be doing:
- Setting out works accurately in line with drawings and specifications
- Carrying out site surveys, levels, and measurements
- Reading and interpreting construction drawings
- Working closely with Site Managers, subcontractors, and wider project teams
- Maintaining accurate site records, QA documentation, and as-built information
- Identifying and resolving technical issues on site
- Supporting the safe and efficient delivery of projects

What we're looking for:
- Around 5+ years' experience working as a Site Engineer
- Strong setting-out and surveying experience
- Experience working on residential/housing developments – commercial experience is also beneficial
- Relevant construction or engineering qualification
- Confident reading and working from technical drawings
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Full UK driving licence
