Site Engineer – Civils & Infrastructure
Location: Hinxton / Cambridgeshire
Sector: Civils & Infrastructure
An exciting opportunity for an experienced Site Engineer to join a growing delivery team, working on civils and infrastructure projects in the Cambridgeshire area.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys being on site, getting involved technically and working closely with the wider project team to make sure works are delivered safely, accurately and to programme.
The Role
- Setting out and surveying works on site
- Working from drawings, specifications and technical information
- Supporting RAMS, ITPs and quality control
- Managing site records, inspections and as-built information
- Liaising with design teams and resolving technical queries
- Supporting Site Agents and Senior Engineers with site delivery
- Working with subcontractors and wider site teams
- Monitoring progress, quantities, materials and programme

We're Looking For
- Proven Site Engineering experience within civils/infrastructure
- Experience across highways, earthworks, S278 or similar
- HNC/HND in Civil Engineering or equivalent experience
- CSCS
- EUSR Cat 1 & 2
- Confined Spaces
- Temporary Works Supervisor
- Strong setting-out and surveying experience
- Good understanding of drawings, specifications and construction methods
- Full clean driving licence
