CONSTRUCTION SITE ENGINEER - NUCLEAR DECOMMISSIONING, NORTH WALES

GREAT PROJECT, GREAT ROLE. NEGOTIABLE HOURLY RATE, 4 DAYS A WEEK ON SITE.

LONG TERM 2 YEAR CONTRACT, NOT TO BE MISSED!

Responsibilities:

  • Take action to champion a strong safety culture, maintain high standards, and drive continuous improvement through best practice and learning.
  • Review and accept method statements, safe systems of work, and all relevant documentation with diligence and ownership.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and support others while adapting confidently to changing demands, promoting positive safety, environmental values, and strong planning and coordination

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Essential construction safety qualifications such as CITB Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) or a NEBOSH Construction Certificate, alongside strong Construction Design Management experience.
  • Proven essential experience managing or supervising construction activities such as (working at height operations, temporary works, heavy lifting operations etc.) and supported by an HNC/NVQ Level 5 or equivalent technical background.
  • A thorough understanding of local procedures, rules, and company instructions, ensuring safe, compliant, and effective project delivery.
  • Construction/civil engineering background
  • Experience in demolition, lifting operations, working at height
