Your new company

A leading infrastructure organisation requires an experienced Site Engineer to support the delivery of ground investigation, site survey and pre-construction activities across a portfolio of major projects.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-profile programme, working closely with specialist contractors, land teams and project stakeholders to ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and within agreed timescales.

Your new role

As Site Engineer, you will coordinate site-based investigations and survey activities, ensuring all works are carried out safely, compliantly and to the required quality standards.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing and maintaining Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS).
  • Supporting health, safety, environmental and quality reporting requirements.
  • Delivering site inductions, briefings and safe systems of work.
  • Coordinating access arrangements and liaising with landowners and stakeholders.
  • Managing site access requirements alongside land and project teams.
  • Developing and maintaining short-term programmes for surveys and site activities.
  • Coordinating plant, equipment and site resources.
  • Monitoring programme performance and site progress against budget and timescales.
  • Managing specialist ground investigation and survey contractors on site.
  • Maintaining accurate daily records, photographs and site documentation.
  • Acting as a key point of contact for local stakeholders and interested parties.
  • Supporting contractor selection, evaluation and mobilisation activities.
  • Taking responsibility for site welfare, first aid arrangements, emergency response and security.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
