Site Engineer - Hull
We are currently recruiting for a Site Engineer to join one of our well-established clients in Hull.
Our client is a leading UK construction and civil engineering contractor with a proven track record of delivering complex, high-profile infrastructure, commercial, residential and transportation projects across the UK and Ireland.
Key Responsibilities:
- Setting out and surveying works in accordance with drawings and specifications.
- Producing and maintaining accurate site records and as-built documentation.
- Ensuring works are delivered in compliance with design information and project requirements.
- Managing quality control processes and completing Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
- Supporting subcontractors with technical queries and engineering requirements.
- Reviewing drawings and identifying potential design or construction issues.
- Monitoring progress and reporting updates to the project team.
- Assisting with temporary works coordination and implementation.
- Carrying out site inspections and ensuring works meet required standards.
- Supporting health, safety and environmental compliance across site operations.
- Managing permits, technical documentation and construction records.
- Liaising with designers, subcontractors, consultants and client representatives.

Skills & Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Site Engineer within civil engineering, infrastructure or construction projects.
- Strong setting-out experience using GPS, Total Station and surveying equipment.
- Experience working on highways, utilities, energy, infrastructure or heavy civil engineering projects.
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies and engineering principles.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Proficient in maintaining quality assurance and project documentation.
- Degree, HNC or HND in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- CSCS Card.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
