We're looking for a Senior Site Engineer to join our Faslane / Coulport team based in Scotland.
Location: Faslane / Coulport, Scotland
Hours: 42.5 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.
We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.
What will you be responsible for?
As a Senior Site Engineer, you'll be working within the engineering team, supporting them in delivering high-quality civil and structural projects safely and efficiently. Your day to day will include:
- Setting out work across facilities and supervising specialist subcontractors on site
- Collaborating with permanent civils, structures engineers, and temporary works engineers to ensure proper designs, checks, and approvals are in place
- Conducting all necessary safety, health, and environmental inspections in line with Kier minimum safety standards
- Compiling quality records using Kier's Quality Management System and ensuring subcontractors have all necessary Inspection and Test Plans approved
- Ensuring all engineering activities are successfully delivered on time, on budget, and to the required standard of accuracy and coordination

What are we looking for?
This role of Senior Site Engineer is great for you if:
- You have experience in a similar role within the construction industry, ideally in a main contracting environment, with a sound understanding of safe site operations
- You hold a relevant construction qualification (HND/Degree/SVQ) or technical trade qualification and have strong IT literacy
- You can competently operate setting out and levelling equipment (Total Stations and Digital Levels) and have experience with high-value civil and structural work packages
- You have excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with multiple stakeholders, both internally and externally
- You're comfortable managing tasks independently and are familiar with interpreting technical standards and site controls to ensure compliance
