Project: Agratas Gigafactory – Gravity Smart Campus
Salary: £55,000 + 10% car allowance + package

The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Site / Setting Out Engineer to join the team delivering the major Agratas battery manufacturing facility at Gravity Smart Campus in Bridgwater.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Site / Setting Out Engineer to join one of the UK's most significant advanced manufacturing developments, working within an experienced construction team on a large-scale and technically demanding project.
The Site / Setting Out Engineer Role
As Site / Setting Out Engineer, you will be responsible for providing accurate setting-out and engineering support throughout the construction works. You will work closely with site management, subcontractors, and the wider project team to ensure works are delivered accurately, safely, and in accordance with drawings, specifications, and project requirements.

As part of your day-to-day responsibilities as Site / Setting Out Engineer, you will:
- Carry out setting-out works
- Establish and maintain site control points, gridlines, levels, and benchmarks
- Undertake engineering surveys
- Produce accurate as-built information
You will use Total Stations, GPS/GNSS, and associated surveying equipment, interpret construction drawings and specifications, check subcontractor works against required tolerances, and assist in resolving technical issues on site.
The Site / Setting Out Engineer will also support QA activities, ITPs, and inspection records, respond to technical queries, and maintain accurate engineering and site documentation.

What We're Looking For
- Previous experience as a Site Engineer, Setting Out Engineer, or Site / Setting Out Engineer on major construction projects.
- Strong setting-out and surveying experience, including Total Stations and GPS/GNSS.
- Experience within industrial, manufacturing, data center, logistics, commercial, or major civils projects.
- Good understanding of construction drawings, coordinates, levels, tolerances, QA, and as-built documentation.
- Relevant Civil Engineering, Construction, or Surveying qualification preferred.
- Valid CSCS card.
- Experience working as a Site / Setting Out Engineer on large-scale Tier 1 or Tier 2 projects, particularly involving groundworks, concrete, structural steel, or major industrial facilities, would be highly advantageous.

£55,000 per annum + 10% car allowance + package
