Role Description
This full-time Monitoring Site Engineer role is based in UK and offered on a hybrid basis, combining on-site work with some work from home. The Site Engineer will oversee and coordinate day-to-day site activities, ensuring that construction and engineering works are delivered safely, on time, and to the required quality standards. - Supervising site operations including drilling boreholes, installing instrumentation, and conducting inspections and measurements
- Ensuring compliance with relevant standards, procedures, and client requirements
- Collaborating with project managers, engineers, contractors, and clients
- Preparing accurate reports, maintaining site records
- Contributing to risk assessments and method statements
- Identifying technical issues, proposing practical solutions, and supporting continuous improvement in site processes and project delivery
Qualifications
- Strong on-site skills, including experience supervising site activities and applying safe working practices
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, engage with clients, and produce clear technical reports
- Quality control skills, including conducting inspections, monitoring workmanship, and ensuring compliance with specifications and standards
- Structural engineering skills relevant to construction projects, including understanding structural drawings and design principles
- Civil engineering skills, with experience in infrastructure or building projects

Relevant qualifications such as a degree or HNC/HND in Civil or Structural Engineering or Geology (or a closely related discipline) are highly beneficial.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with office software (MS Office) are desirable
- A commitment to health, safety, sustainability, and continuous professional development is expected
