Statom Group Ltd., a premier civil engineering contractor specializing in Remediation, Groundworks, and Structures, is seeking a dedicated Site Engineer for our Stansted (Airport) project. Join our expert team to play a vital role in delivering high-quality engineering works in a fast-paced airport environment.

Role Overview

As a Site Engineer at the Stansted Airport project, you will be responsible for ensuring all engineering activities are carried out accurately and efficiently, meeting both company standards and regulatory requirements. Your ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and manage on-site challenges will be essential to the successful completion of our projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct precise setting out and site surveys to support construction activities.
  • Assist with preparation and management of project documentation and site plans specific to airport engineering projects.
  • Ensure compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, and relevant aviation regulations.
  • Oversee installation and commissioning of structures and groundworks adhering to quality and safety standards.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and airport authorities to maintain smooth operations and timely delivery.
  • Monitor progress and report any variances or challenges to project management promptly.
  • Enforce health, safety, and environmental policies, particularly those pertinent to airport construction sites.
  • Provide technical guidance and resolve engineering issues throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

Qualifications and Skills

  • CSCS White Card
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years of site engineering experience, preferably with exposure to airport or similarly regulated environments.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, engineering principles, and design standards.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and relevant engineering software.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills to interact effectively with diverse project stakeholders.
  • In-depth understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations applicable to airport construction.
  • Capacity to perform under pressure and handle multiple priorities efficiently.
